梁凱珊 Sand Leung

My goal is to plan and to build a better performing venue and space for the performers and technical engineers.

Sand Leung has over 18 years of experiences in Audio Visual industry since she graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2004, majoring in Sound Design and Music Recording.

In 2019, she became the honoree of “40 under 40” which is an annual selection of the most influential young people in Audio Visual Industry. In 2021, she led the team to win the Leisure & Entertainment Project award organized by InAVate APAC in 2021.

Sand first started her career as a technical engineer for the construction projects in the Hong Kong Disneyland and the attraction theatres in Ngong Ping 360. After that she was the Project Manager (Audio Visual System) of numerous famous integrated resorts in Macao like The Venetian, Sands Cotai Central, Wynn, etc.

In 2015 and 2017, Sand was appointed to be the Audio Visual representative of Wynn Palace Resorts and MGM Cotai Theatre (the client), respectively, which included, but not limited to, project management, design review, coordination and solution. All the work done under these two projects assured the client that project and system implementation, including all the challenges associated with them were being taken care of in a professional and timely manner, which the end-users highly appreciated.

With years of experience, Sand found that it is essential and critical to get the end user expectation and implement in the space planning and system design in the early stage. Her construction background and the professional knowledge in Media and Performing Arts helped her to further build and develop her career as a design consultant in the Audio Visual field.

Sand is currently the director of a technology consultancy company – Nova Range based in Hong Kong and Macau. Their core areas of design services are audio visual, acoustics, theatrical lighting, technical stage systems and space planning.

To plan and build a better performing venue and space to the performers and technical engineers is her on-going goal.
